                       Vanessa Chen - Piano

Vanessa has been teaching for over three years and is experienced teaching all levels of students. She began her formal musical training at the age of six. She has studied with the Santa Clara University Music Department Chair, Professor Hans Beopple. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance with a Piano Emphasis at University of California, Davis and studying with Lois Brandwynne. Vanessa has competed and placed in the top three nearly every year in the United States Open Music Competition from 1997-2002.
